~ 1969 Scrambler ~

Vehicle Description
This bike was restored in 1995 and then stored for 6 years. All painted metal was stripped bare. The following are new: all paint, including correct pin stripes-no tape (paint matched to an nos Ducati color), real leather seat, most chrome. Hard parts that are new: tires, chain, cables, sprockets, shocks, wiring. Deviations from stock: UK mfr. muffler, billet steering damper, Vincent flat bars, new Amal carb. Lovely, rebuilt Marzocchi forks; braided wiring harness-no tape or tie strips. Rare "step on" side stand. Missing proper speedo cable, skid plate and center stand. Only driven about 200 miles, all in summer of 2001. A fast, very pleasant and attractive single. Includes non-original manual and numerous spares.

Vehicle Condition
Cosmetically, not concours, but excellent condition. The alternator to battery cable fell off, so battery died after many charges last summer. My mechanic moved away, but repair appears simple. Other than the elec. problem, sound bike.
