1980 Ducati 900 SS For Sale
* 7342 mile bike *
Asking $33,250

~ SOLD ~
This is a Ducati that Bevel Heaven owner Steve Allen bought from
a collector over a decade ago and has sat in his office at the
Bevel Heaven empire since.
This super clean 900SS is a rare find in this condition and it is now ready to go.
The bike shows 7342 actual miles on the Smiths gauges. The
original owner got to a
point where he stopped riding bikes in early 1988, then after a
decade he decided it was time to sell..... Last
registered in 1988, this bike has been idle for about 27+ years.
A few weeks ago
Steve decided it was time to pull it out and have a look. He
went through it, making sure everything
worked as it should. He rebuilt the carbs, brakes, forks,
various gaskets and seals were replaced along with a new
battery, Cavis Benz fuel hose and taps installed. The gas tank
is shiny inside, engine has fresh oil and a new filter
installed.
The bike starts right up, idles easily, revs nicely, lights and horn work, the
brakes & clutch are good and work well..... It is ready
to go.
The bike is mostly original with few faults. It has Contis and Dell'Orto PHM40s,
the under
the engine lead seal is intact. I believe
the tires might still be the original Pirellis that came on it
from the factory due to it's super low mileage and how long it
has sat. The fairing and tank appear
to have been repainted. The rest of the bodywork and the
frame are original paint.
Here is a short video we took right after starting it for the
first time in 27+ years

This bike is located in
Concord, California just east of San Francisco & is offered to
be sold "As Is / Where Is" with a clear California title & registration
in my name as the 2nd owner of this bike. I
have described the bike to the best of my knowledge. It has been sitting in my warehouse for the past
decade +. The work described above I personally did over the past
several weeks.
This bike is very nice indeed. If you would
like a full rundown of everything done just give me a call to
discuss etc. That said, there is absolutely no warranty
expressed or implied - its a 36 year old motorcycle and there is
bound to be other things discovered over time once the bike
starts to be ridden, like all bevel drives...
