1973 750 Sport ~ SOLD
The bike has 9k original miles. I purchased it in Michigan from
the original owner's sister in 2005, I titled it but never
plated in my ownership as not intending to ride it, yes it's a
show queen. Comes with original Scarab brake - off the bike as
I had a Brembo installed (the scarab master and calipers are
sold with the bike and fairly rare). Other than for that, the
bike has been in the study room of my house since purchased.
It
is original and un-restored, the engine and frame numbers match
(as I understand, this is unusual for this models). The chrome,
spokes, crossover pipe show age and light pitting, cleaned and
maintained as I have considered this original patina and
preserved aging characteristics.
If you are shopping for a restored bike, this is not the
right one.
Lovingly maintained, oil has been changed twice since purchased
(last in 2011) even though it has never been ridden. No
gasoline in tank, when fired up, a drip tank was used and only
idled twice a year to allow oil to circulate. Cavis gas tubes
changed as originals dried up when i acquired it, carbs have no
gas in the bowls and have been cleaned when I acquired the bike.
This bike is
located in Indiana, USA.
Asking price 50,000 USD firm.
