Confused about how
to rebuild your 38mm Marzocchi or Ceriani forks on your vintage
Italian motorcycle? Now you
can send me your forks for rebuild or restoration!
Send me your forks
and I will rebuild with 4 new correct seals, wipers, crush washers on the
drain screws & Orings on the fork caps. I will install
the right type and amount of fork fluid and can install a new dual rate spring kit
if an improved ride is desired. I'll then ship everything back. I
stock all the parts mentioned above. Of course, if you just want new seals and
wipers then
that is fine if that is all that is needed..... we should discuss
this once I see the parts.

ABOVE: I have a painter who
can exactly duplicate the textured finish on your Marzocchi
forks and triple clamps. Not close, but EXACT. The
cost for the paintwork only is $150 + shipping each way.
You send everything to me, I will strip down the parts and send
the triple clamps and fork lowers off for paint then reassemble
with all new parts and ship back to you. The process takes
a couple weeks tops and the cost for me to strip and rebuild is
noted below.

Cost:
Shop rate is $75/hr + parts as indicated HERE
plus shipping back to you. California residents [only] add
8.25% Ca Sales Tax to parts only. I offer a 10% discount on
related parts needed to complete the job. To replace fork
seals and wipers allow for 1 hour labor + parts. Figure
about $100 for seals, wipers, clips, snap rings, orings.
Fork spring kits are $137. To bead blast the
lowers add $85 additional. To polish the lowers add $100.
To paint the lowers black add $150. Of course, if you have stuck
drain screws,
stripped out caliper bolts [Marzocchi forks] or other unforeseen
problems, then it can take more time to
finish up and I will contact you at once for your approval.
If this interests
you, please shoot me an email or give me a call and I will let you
know the best address to ship to, depending on the time of year.
Please wrap up all parts in newspaper and seal with plastic bags,
then put everything in a big enough box to allow for some packaging
material like popcorn etc to be added so that nothing gets damaged
in transit.
I will contact you
once I get your items to discuss your options.
