OK here you go boys and girls, the dreaded OIL QUESTION............... Which oil should I use?

We have read all the reports and have decided this is one of those oils which can be used in bevel drive engines as well as any other bike needing a thicker SG rated oil. Mobil 1 has a LONG history of making outstanding lubricants. This is a 1 quart jug.

1 quart bottle of non synthetic 20w50 motul '3000' engine oil with an SG RATING so it is perfect for bevel drives an other bikes. This is a PREMIUM high performance 4 stroke engine oil blended in the USA for motorcycles with or without a wet clutch and an integrated gearbox designed to handle extreme pressures and high temps,,, so the clutch pack will release even when cold and also reduces internal drag allowing the gears to engage smoothly and positively.

** API SG/JASO MA ** Twin Syn 20x50 is a superior lubricant created for use in engines with an integrated transmission including Ducati. It was engineered to handle the excessive temperatures found in big air-cooled twins. Motul's molecular polarbond technology provides outstanding grip on wet clutches helping to prevent slippage. THE BEST paint detailer etc. Use this to keep your bike clean in between a major detail. Works great on all painted surfaces as well as chrome, plastic and polished aluminum. This stuff is the best and I highly recommend it which is why I am now stocking it. 16oz bottle.

No matter how well you take care of your bike, sometimes things happen that need “intensive care”. Some overly stubborn road film, a few ugly stains, or plain old dulling and corrosion are things a biker can face. No problem! For small areas, our S100 Finish Restorer is the perfect solution. It can renew tarnished metals (aluminum, stainless, chrome etc.) to a brilliant shine, even often take small scratches out of plastics. It rubs out easier than ordinary polishes and doesn’t come with that ugly ammonia smell, either! This stuff really works. We like to use this after washing and before waxing.... Just like it says in the title, this removes swirl marks and water spots and is easy to use too. There is no chalky residue and this is anon-abrasive forumla.

Got a bike with a black engine that just isn’t so black anymore? This stuff is THE GREATEST to use after you rebuild your BREMBO brakes and the finish looks dull from the cleaners - spray it on and the calipers will get some shine back.. Bikers like you told us they needed special help in this area and we listened! Our S100 Engine Brightener can take a tired, greyed-out engine and make it look almost factory-new again! Just clean the engine and dry, then spray on our temperature stable S100 Engine Brightener. Use the handy misting spray nozzle (an industry exclusive) to get into the cooling fins and crannies without over-applying. That factory black look comes back and lasts for miles and miles and holds up to a bunch of washes, too. Friends will think you replaced the engine!

Spray it on, wipe it off, no washing, no rincing, no residue and safe on polycarbonate and acrylics such as Lexan, Lucite, Plexiglass, Fibreglass etc.

This cleaning foam is for interior and exterior helmet care. IT works real well to cean, deordorize and protect the inner padding, removes dirt and brightens colors. Helmet Care leaves a nice fresh smell too. No more gross smelling helmets!

This stuff is THE BEST polishing product I have ever used. Cleans and polishes all metals including chrome, aluminum, silver, gold, brass, copper, pewter, glass and steel. You tear off a small portion of wadding and rub the surface until all dirt is removed. Finish the surface by buffing with a soft, dry cloth until a brilliant shine appears. This is a 5oz can, enough to last you years.

Blue Job Pipe Polish is THE only way to completely remove the blue from your chrome pipe. This stuff REALLY works kids. A little goes a long way. Use the enclosed polish cloth slightly dampened and dip it into the powder. Make a paste on your pipe and rub rub rub. This stuff removes exhaust pipe blues, burnt on shoe rubber, rust, fingerprints etc. I strongly suggest you get an extra polishing cloth or 2 while you are at it - the enclosed cloth is pretty small and wears out fast. Good Stuff people.

This is THE BEST polishing cloth you will ever try. I am waiting for my stock of Blue-Job pipe polish which this is designed to be used with. But in the mean time you can use this cloth with Semi-Chrome or other polishes and you will NOT scratch your chrome - guaranteed! This is good stuff.,

for BREMBO brake systems - check this out. MOTUL uses NITROGEN [not air] when they fill these bottles so you can be assured that the fluid inside is pure and not already degraded - it is fresh. The RBF600 far exceeds the standards for DOT 4 and the extremely high dry boiling point of 594 deg F and wet boiling point of 421 deg F provides fade free operation. This is the good stuff people.

Galfer DOT 4 brake fluid is another alternative, and cost effective too, for use in our bevel drive Ducati, or for that matter, any brake or clutch system utilizing BREMBO master cylinders, calipers or slave cylinders. Extremely high boiling point = 265C

This is the specific silicone liquid gasket sealant that DUCATI sells - used for joining case center halves together etc. A must for all modern DUCATI rebuilds, good for other things to. From the ThreeBond website..... "General-purpose liquid gaskets. Excellent engine-oil resistance. Excellent gear-oil resistance. Corrodes copper and copper-based alloys. Can not be used for copper and copper-based alloys in tightly-sealed state."

HYLOMAR. Permanently malleable, hyigh temperature-resistant sealant. 80 ml [3.53 oz] for sealing gearboxes, crankcases etc. Temp resistant from -58F to + 572F. Absolutely impervious even after year long vibration. Can be stored for an unlimited time at room temperature. This is the good stuff baby.

ThreeBond 1211 Liguid Gasket is an excellent silicone gasket goo. It is heat and chemical resistant [heat and chemical PROOF based on my experience]. You may know about this stuff as YAMA-BOND. This Stuff Works. When I raced my little single the thing would spring leaks everywhere. The rocker cover had a mounting point to the frame and it would crack.... One time I noticed a crack just after practice and with no time to pull it off and replace it, I just cleaned the surface with brake cleaner and puddled some of this stuff over the length of the crack. Since the motor was very hot, it cured in like 15 mins, just in time for me to go out and win my race. When I came in I fully expected to see oil all over the place, but this stuff sealed it up. Remember, I can carry ANY product I want, but I only choose to stock products that I *know* work well. Three Bond..... this stuff works.

GRIPLOCK - grip glue by ThreeBond. Waterproof glue keeps your grips in place without damaging the rubber. Be safe - don't use hair spray etc.... you don;t want your grips sliding off in the middle of a turn.....!    30 gr tube will last a long time

PERMATEX high temp thread sealant. Perfect for 900SS and singles fuel taps - the ones that thread INTO the tank, bleed screws on brakes, brake light switches etc. Fuel, brake fluid and oil proof. This is the good stuff baby. Comes in a 6ml tube.

This is the good stuff to use on your bevel drive fasteners - for steel bolts into your aluminum cases, steel to steel, aluminum to aluminum - whatever..... This stuff is removable grade and is used to prevent vibration loosening and protects threads from rust and corrosion. #242 BLUE LocTite in a small .20 FL OZ [6ml] tube.

HYLOMAR gasket sealant and dressing is a really good option for most surfaces. This is a 5 oz aerosol can - enough to last a long time. Spray a thin coat on both sides of the gasket, allow to tack up for 5 mins or so then assemble.

Motul makes GREAT products. Their FACTORY LINE chain lube is specially developed to lubricate racing motorcycle chains, both road racing and endurance applications. Their BORON TECH formulation limits the rolling resistance for greater power. This is a 400 ml can.

Motorex low VOC chain cleaner. Spray it on, let it soak for a bit then wipe off. Follow up with chain lube and that's it. Excellent for use on ALL chains, oring, x ring, non oring etc etc.

MOTUL Tech 300 Grease is THE BEST water proof grease you can buy - I have been using this stuff for years on steering bearings, swingarm pivot shafts, axles, wheel bearings, lever pivots etc etc. 200 gram tube - enough to last a long time.

Motion Pro cable lube provides the smoothest operation and longest cable life. Don't let the high price fool you - this stuff is worth every nickel! This lubricant is resistant to high pressures, penetrates into tight areas easily and sets into a high temp grease. Here is the factory literature.... "Optimum penetration into the treated parts. Immediate evaporation of solvent, resulting directly in a high adhesive force between lubricant and metal. For lubricating parts subjected to high pressures, impacts and vibration. Long term action and corrosion protection. Resistant to water, water jet, brine, many acids and alkalis. Unaffected by temperatures from -95F to +392F. APPLICATIONS: door hinges, steering rod heads, exposed gear, wheels, racks, sprockets, chains [including motorcycle chains], wire cables sliding guideways etc etc" OK so what does this all have to do with our motorcycles? We have been using this stuff for a long time and it works. It works well. We use it to lubricate all our cables, brake and shift levers, folding footpegs, all kinds of places. The 500ml aerosol can will last you a real long time - BUY IT - THIS STUFF WORKS.

Motul chain lube really works. It clings to chains and keeps the dirt out - rust inhibitor.

This stuff we have been using for years on bicycles, door hinges, pedals, levers on motorcycles... The uses are endless. Does not attract dust, this is a very good lube option. This small bottle will last a very long time even if you use it all the time.

Unique agent for cooling systems that doubles the wetting ability of water. Rust and corrosion protection allows for use of straight water in racing or reduced antifreeze levels in warm climates. Most race sanctioning bodies do NOT allow any antifreeze on the track, but they all DO allow water plus Water Wetter... Improves heat transfer and reduces cylinder head temperature. May allow more spark advance for increase power and efficiency. Use a quarter bottle in your motorcycle or one bottle for most passenger cars and light trucks, treats 3 to 5 gallons or 13.2 to 15.9 liters. Vehicles with larger cooling systems should use more. Small cooling systems should use 1oz (3 to 4 capfuls) per quart Compatible with new or used antifreeze (including DEX-COOLTM and long-life versions) to improve the heat transfer of ethylene and propylene glycol systems. Satisfies ASTM D2570 and ASTM D1384 corrosion tests for glycol-based antifreezes.

Stuck bolts or nuts? How about a stuck exhaust nut on your bevel drive? This stuff really works well - this is what we use in our shop. This is a NON OZONE DEPLETING formula spray, containing PTFE which is an excellent rust-buster and offers superior penetrating power.

High-cling oil for foam cartridge air filters - 750ml jug suitable for all foam type filter elements used in motocross, enduro, trials and trail riding etc etc. Technically very close to the AIR FILTER SPRAY, this variation is for those who prefer immersing their foam filter in liquid oil.

This is a 1 ounce [28gr] tube of PERMATEX Anti-Seize Lubricant. Perfect for spark plug installation on aluminum cylinder head engines - prevents corrosion, eliminates galling & seizing, permits easy disassembly, will not wash away and withstands heat up to 1600 deg F [870 deg C]. This tube is big enough to last years.... We recommend using it on all stainless fasteners also.

This is a water based liquid 'mask' for painted tanks and other painted surfaces. It dries to a non-tacky film that resists Kreem Fuel Tank Liner and Tank Prep B materials. Paint it on and peel off or wash off when done. This stuff works.

2 part kit - wash and clean the inside of your steel gas tank then condition it before applying a tank seal coating...

Easy to use CONTACT CLEANER is used to remove brake fluid, grease, and dirt from internal components of electronic equipment and devices, including radios, compact discs, electronic ignitions and computers. CONTACT CLEANER extends the life of electronic components. It quickly flushes away grease, oil, dirt and dust. There is no need to disassemble small, delicate electronics.

This starting fluid works really well for us here at our shop. For those troublesome engines... Just a quick spritz down the carbie and the hard starting bike usually starts right up.

Stops corrosion in stored engines and protects cylinders at startup... Coats internal engine components to prevent corrosion during storage, lubricates cylinders to prevent cylinder damage at start up. Remove air filters and spray a bit in each carb of your running engine, yes, while it is running! Turn engine off and spray down into the spark plug holes. For non running engines - just spray the parts, and, spray down spark plug holes in complete, non running engines. We also like to spray this inside steel gas tanks that are going to be stored. Good stuff this is, we love it.

Use this stuff on the INSIDE of your chrome exhaust pipes to protect the outside from turning blue. This stuff really does work. This is a heat dispersing coating for the inside of your pipes. 1 pint.

Spray to lubricate levers etc or to protect threads. Tons of uses with this corrosion inhibitor / lube.

Very powerful degreasing agent for electrical contacts, and all metal parts - especially useful for cleaning brake and clutch parts as it dissolves oil, grease and tar, and evaporates quickly. 300ml

This product cleans the INSIDE of your motorcycle engine. Dump the can into your warmed engine and let idle for 15 mins. Drain your oil, swap filter and put in your new oil. Use every other oil change to keep the inside of your engine clean. Your engine oil will stay cleaner when you use this product for a longer period of time and this also helps to restore engine compression. Good Stuff.

S100 Corrosion Protectant: No matter how clean you keep your bike, you always have to be on the lookout for that dreaded “enemy number one”, corrosion. Unless you live in the desert, humidity, salt air, spring road salt and plain old pollution threaten your bike’s “precious metals”. That’s why we developed S100 Corrosion Protectant. Just spray on a clean, dry bike (or into a cloth) and rub into the areas you want to protect, those sensitive areas like fork tubes, case covers and wheels (and don’t forget those hidden areas you can’t reach.). You’ll find that S100 Corrosion Protectant won’t rub off easily in the rain and so its protection really lasts. It even dramatically out-performed a famous so called “corrosion fighter”, so this is really the way to protect your investment! Important note: This is the perfect product for winter lay up and long term storage. Spray directly on all sensitive areas and allow to dry.

after cleaning your electrical connectors, put a small dab of this stuff in there, snap the connector back and it will be protected from water and corrosion etc. Use this on spark plug boots too....

Dellorto product for motorcycles - "Green Power". "Can be used in all engines. Removes valve wear, compression and power loss". However the Italians describe this stuff, it is an engine performance booster you can pour into the tank - use 1 bottle per tank. It helps boost compression and seal valves.... 6oz size

Dellorto product for motorcycles - "Jet Cleaner". "This fuel additive solves common problems of fuel systems by dispersing water and humidity. It is suitable for carburettor and injection system cleaning - pour 1 bottle in your tank every 1500 km". However the Italians describe this stuff, it is an excellent maintenance item for your dellorto carb equipped bike - 6oz size

Dellorto product for motorcycles - "Octane Plus". Increases the petrol octane percentage. "Removes combustion shocks and pre-ignition problems". However the Italians describe this stuff, it is an octane booster you can pour into the tank - use 1 bottle per tank. 6oz size

This stuff works great. It is non corrosive and will not hurt plastic or rubber. Just spray it on your carb, wait a couple mins then hose off. Your carbs will look new again.
