Ducati 750GT - An excellent condition early
Ducati, this is the most desirable of the GT
models, and the most comfortable of all the
bevel twins. The L-twin engine ranks as
one of the most beautiful mechanical marvels of
the '70s, yet its advanced design then keeps it
a smooth, quick, and reliably usable bike today
 not to mention strikingly beautiful
.............. This bike has the best of the GT
features: leading axle forks, stainless fender,
steel tank, Borrani alloy rims, early European
small taillight and license holder. The bike was
refurbished 10 years ago, and remains in that
condition now. The frame and all black pieces
were stove-enameled, giving a higher gloss than
powder coating. The rims, forks, engine covers
are polished. Stainless steel spokes, and
fenders and chain guard are highly polished.
Dual cast iron discs give the bike stopping
power that matches modern machines, with better
feel. Lovely Conti mufflers are rust and dent
free, and sound so much better than the replica
Bubs. Carbs are upgraded to 32mm DelLortos
from a Sport, and it has Pro Italia installed
bronze valve guides and Dyna Electonic ignition.
The paint is a deep oxblood red lacquer - no
clearcoat needed for a fake gloss its in
the paint). Tires are Metzeler Laser front,
Dunlop K591 rear, shocks are Progressive
Suspension. This bike runs, handles, stops as
well as it looks everything works as it
should, all work first-rate. I am selling this
for the present owner as I am familiar with the
bike when it was refurbished for the prior
ownerHas custom made external
conversion to left hand shift, including swing
out kick pedal, and semi-rearset pegs. All
pieces are included to turn it back to original
(a very easy bolt on, and all original parts are
chromed and painted to match). The license plate
reads "ART DUCO", can be used in
California only, will not be included if shipped
out of state. |
