I have decided to sell
my wonderful original 1974 Ducati 750GT in order to fund
another purchase.
It is a rare opportunity to find a
750GT in this kind of original condition. It has resided in a private
collection since 1980.
Engine #: 755259-DM750 Frame#: I
hesitated to remove the foil serial# sticker that covers it for fear of
damaging the sticker.
All the original factory details remain
on this 1974 750GT.
Original lead seal under crankcase
still intact!
The paint seems to be too good to be
original, so it must have been repainted at some point before 1980.
It has polished center axle Marzzochi
front forks, original Scarab front brake caliper, original rear shocks,
original twin "Belli" horns, the seat is in great condition, all the
electrics are original, even the throttle stop screw still has its small
rubber cap! The Borrani rims are the originals & are in beautiful
condition.
It does have a tiny nick in the paint on the right side of the tank which
could be touched up.
front Borrani rim: WM 2X19 RECORD
RM01/4403-40
rear Borrani rim: WM3X18 RECORD RM
01-4626/1-40
The tires are Pirelli Phantom tires
installed back around 1980.
It even still has its side stand!
This bike ran well before it was put
into storage [correctly] back in 1980. The engine has been frequently kicked
over & internally fogged with oil - it kicks over
easily & has great compression. Getting this bike back to running
condition should be an easy task.
Included in this auction are two new
fuel taps, the correct green fuel line, carburetor rebuild kits & a pair of
new Avon tires with Michelin tubes.
Don't miss this rare opportunity!!
This bike has been hidden away far too long, please be the one to bring it
back out onto the road where it belongs! Asking $14,500
